  1. Who can purchase materials from Northwest Textbook Depository?
    All schools, school districts, teachers, and parents located in the states of Oregon, Washington, and Alaska.

  2. What is an ISBN Number?
    An ISBN (International Standard Book Number) is a unique 10-digit or 13-digit number used by publishers to differentiate between titles and other educational media. These numbers can usually be found on the back cover of each item often next to a barcode.

  3. What information is available if I become a registered user of this site?
    Once registered, you will have access to our comprehensive catalog, advanced search tools, and easily customized Wish Lists. If you are authorized by your school or district, you will also have the ability to submit online orders and access to a wealth of information regarding orders you have sent to us.

  4. Can I use this system to place an online order?
    Yes, if you have been authorized by your school or district to do so. Please contact us for further information.

    All other registered users of our website can create wish lists containing the items they would like to order. Although these Wish Lists can not be sent to us electronically, they can be printed and mailed/faxed to us along with whatever other purchasing documents are required by your school or district (for example, a purchase order).

  5. Can I modify an online order once it has been submitted?
    No, you may not edit an online order once it has been sent to us. If you need to change an order you have submitted, please contact us.

  6. Can I use a credit card when placing on online order?
    This site is not intended for credit card orders. If you wish to pay for an order via a credit card, please contact us for instructions.

  7. What should I do if a publisher's sales representative has authorized me to receive No Charge/Gratis items?
    When you are creating your order/wish list, you will be asked to enter how many of each item you would like to order. If you are ordering a "no charge" item, please enter quantity you have been authorized to receive in the column labeled "Quantity Gratis."

  8. How much should I estimate for tax and shipping/handling?
    Call as tax and shipping/handling rates vary by state and the type of shipping required (freight, next day air, etc.)

  9. What should I do if I forgot my user name or password?
    Please contact us (see contact information below) and we will be happy to assist you.

  10. I do not see my question here, what should I do?
